The temperature reached 90 degrees at Reagan National yesterday for the first time this season. Temperatures will approach 90 degrees in places again today with uncomfortable humidity levels. Late this afternoon, as a cold front moves into the region, showers and thunderstorms will develop. These showers and storms will continue tonight. A few showers may linger into tomorrow morning but drier air will return during the mid-day and afternoon. Cooler and less humid conditions will lead to a sunny and comfortable day on Thursday. By Friday, the next system will arrive wirh increasing chances for rain and the chance of rain may continue into the weekend.
